A Message from the President
On behalf of the Keesler Spouses' Club (KSC), I would like to welcome you to Keesler Air Force Base, Biloxi, Mississippi. The KSC is a charitable and social organization focused on community involvement.
Membership in the KSC is open to spouses of any Armed Forces service member working at Keesler Air Force Base. This includes both enlisted and officer spouses, spouses of Active Duty Guard or Reserve members, as well as spouses of civil service or key civilian personnel working at Keesler AFB.
The Keesler Thrift Shop is our main source of charitable funds. Members of the KSC volunteer their time to making the Thrift Shop a success. Sales generated from the Thrift Shop allow the KSC to donate to charitable organizations benefiting Keesler, our local community and to award college scholarships to eligible Keesler family members. The Thrift Shop is located in building 1704 at the corner of Meadows and First Street. The Thrift Shop is open on Mondays & Wednesdays from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Consignments are accepted from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Mondays only. Donations are accepted anytime and are greatly appreciated.
The KSC has a social event each month (September through May) which is typically held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. Information on all of our events can be found at the Thrift Shop, on this website or in the base paper.
If you are interested in joining, there are membership forms available at the Thrift Shop and on this website. Please feel free to contact our Membership Chair, Katie Cain at membership-at-keeslerspousesclub.com, if you have any questions.
We are looking forward to an exciting year! Our goal is to make our club a place for friendship and fun. Once you get settled in here at Keesler Air Force base, please take time to attend one of our monthly events. The KSC is a wonderful way to meet new people and get connected. Cathy Varble is an "institution" here at Keesler. She and her husband are very active volunteers - he at the hospital and Cathy through the KSC (particularly the Thrift Shop) and many other places on base. Cathy recently turned 80! We planted a tree, in her honor, near the Thrift Shop. Check this week's (Thursday, December 8th) Keesler News for an article about Cathy and the tree planting ceremony.
